I love this photo.. could stare at it for hours. It looks like a practice session before a race later in the evening. Someones on a practice run you can see his trail of dust as he rips around one of the corners. You can almost smell and hear the sensations on that day. The full throttle pitch of the rider on the track, mechanics warming up bikes .. motors advanced and popping loudly.. smell of exhaust, dust and nervous anticipation of the race heavy in the air.

Love to be in their time, if only for a day. Just to be there and see these bikes and the people riding them back then would be incredible.

The used to run on Methanol so the smell must have been pretty magic too!
