hey t, that little video preserves that tunnel in some way...there was this building in sydney, an incinerator, designed by walter burley griffin when he left the US to come here and design canberra early in the 20th century...anyway...when i was an architecture student i went to see this building....unused for about thirty years, big chain fences, had to climb over, everything falling down, roof caved in, but it smelled amazing, burnt, ash and black. it was demolished a year later to build apartments....i never took my camera. i remember the smell but wish i took my camera.
