I rode it stock for a month and now I've been working all the time on rebuilding it. I've had an offset springer hanging around which I bought a year ago for super cheap.. it had the fork legs cut. I rebuilt it, which entailed remaking the legs, and brazing new gussets and brake shackle mount, .. it has taken me a ridiculous amount of time but it's done aside from painting it and putting it all together and mounting it on the bike. I will never do it again. HA! I'd just buy one! I redid the tunnel on this wassel tank so now it has a shallow tunnel and will hold slightly more gas .. I was going to redo the cap to the top but I may just leave it. The generator is a 3 brush and was converted to a 2brush .. I'm replacing the 3rd brush and converting it back so I can just use a relay. The 6 volt regulator was a Bosch off a VW and was huge and took up too much room. These forks will go on my other panhead frame.. the bars were freebies and will be making some new ones to go with the springer forks.
